INTERNATIONAL ORDERS – Please buy on AmazonClick here to buy on Amazon
Why am I being transferred to Amazon? Merrilyn would like to explain………..’the books are published in the USA. The cost of shipping the books to Australia and then to ‘the rest of the world’ would add so much cost to each book.’ If you do not want to order through Amazon, then visit my Etsy shop: merrilynheazlewood. Thankyou for your order in from either location’.
Australian Buyers please purchase by Adding to card on this page.
Silk Ribbon Needlepoint
Large, easy to read graphs. Step by Step instructions.
Three delicate and useful projects are shared with you in this book.
Daffodil Box Pin Cushion, Irises on a Candy Bag and a very useful Fuchsia Needle Book.
Daffodil Box Pin Cushion
Daffodils are always cheerful and remind us of spring.
Follow the colours I have used, or work with some of ‘gems’ that are already in your ‘stash’.
Daffodils grow quickly and easily with 7mm and 4mm silk ribbon.
The Daffodils have been finished into a box pin cushion, graphs and making up instructions are included in the book.
Irises would be one of the easiest flowers to stitch with silk ribbon, each flower grows with its own characteristics, just as it does in nature.
Delicate pink and lilac tones are stitched into the needlepoint background. Use the threads I suggest or select a favourite thread from your ‘stash’.
Fuchsia Needle Book
Gathered 13mm silk ribbon creates a magnificent Fuchsia for the cover of the Needle Book.
Traditional delicate needlepoint stitches are worked into the book cover.
We can all use a needle book, even friends and family who are not as mad about stitching as us!
Merrilyn’s tip are also included in this book:
- how do I open and store twisted skeins?
- how I work with silk ribbon
- various styles of canvas and lots more.
