Introduction to making plaited skeins

Beginners Videos

Our approach to embroidery is more relaxed than what it was years ago. Today the most important thing is that you stitch and create a piece of work. Especially at the moment while we are all adjusting to a different way of life. If you are new to embroidery, relax and enjoy the process of stitching.

Just a little tip:  if you have just completed a section of your work and you are not sure if it’s OK, please don’t cut/take it out – put your piece aside and look at it fresh in a day or two. You’ll probably be happy with that section of stitching.  Less unpicking the better.
