About the Design:

Do you have a stash of opened skeins of threads?  Stitch your stash of threads into this bright easy design.
So easy to stitch – commence in the centre, build on ‘squares’ of stitching, occasionally leaving a row of canvas unstitched.
Change and adapt the colours stitched into Kimberley to suit your décor of that of a loved one you will give the finished project too.
Kimberley is ideal to be finished into a pillow or tote bag.

Inspiration:

Kimberley was inspired by my holiday in the Kimberley region of north west Australia.  Red dust, red dirt roads, deep gorges, blue sparkling rivers, the bee hives of the Bungle Bungles are just a few features of this vast region. The highlight was seeing ancient rock art created by aboriginals. The Kimberley region produces the Argyle Pink Diamonds 😊 and the glorious,  world-renowned pearls from Broome.
