Glass House Fuchsia – Needlepoint Kit

This design was inspired and so named because the historic glass houses  at the Hobart Royal Botanical Gardens which I visited frequently when designing and writing my silk ribbon book on Fuchsias.

The soft subtle tones of the threads selected to create the needlepoint are an artist’s interpretation of ‘old wobbly glass’.  I deliberately selected fine threads so that some of the white canvas would show through.

Fuchsias are wonderful to create with 13mm silk ribbon.

In the kit there is a USB/thumb drive of me stitching the silk ribbons flowers.

The kit contains all the threads, silk ribbon, needles, printed instructions, videos on a USB/thumb drive and white interlocked canvas.
